As our Systems Engineer, you will be an integral part of our technical team, responsible for ensuring the successful execution of our green hydrogen production projects. You will have the opportunity to work on our flagship project DUWAAL, which involves developing and deploying a complete green hydrogen production value chain. You will work with a team of motivated individuals with diverse backgrounds and contribute to the company's further growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting system-level design and analysis to identify technical gaps and solve complex engineering problems.
- Leading the design and integration of subsystems to ensure seamless system performance.
- Managing the interfaces between subsystems to ensure proper communication and system functionality.
- Creating and managing system-level requirements to meet technical performance, schedule, and cost objectives.
- Providing technical support and coordinating with cross-functional teams, including electrical, mechanical, and software engineers to develop integrated solutions.
- Conducting technical reviews to ensure system requirements are being met and technical risks are identified and mitigated.
- Preparing and maintaining system and project documentation, including technical specifications, design and test reports, and commissioning plans.
- Interfacing with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality, timely delivery of equipment, materials, and services required for project execution.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Physics, or a related field.
- Strong technical knowledge in systems engineering and/or control systems.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge and experience in (green) hydrogen production and/or compressed natural gas projects is preferred.
- Knowledge of gas and electrical safety is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think outside the box.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English. Speaking Dutch is an advantage.
